ARTIST & ILLUSTRATOR
I am a fine artist and illustrator trained at the Herron School of Art and Design. I recently graduated in May 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art, with a Major in Drawing and Illustration. I have a wide range of skills and can adapt my art style for different pieces, but typically I use a realistic rendering style. I primarily use chalk pastel, charcoal, and graphite, but also work occasionally in photography, digital media, watercolor, oil, and acrylic. On this page you will be able to see all of my most recent artwork, and information for pet portrait commissions.
I excel at drawing animals, and because of this, my illustrations usually feature animals. I can illustrate them realistically, or characterized, but typically they appear realistically in my artwork. This love of animals inspired my most recent body of work: my Baccalaureate Thesis Series. In this series, I place animals in human situations to exaggerate their personalities. I have done this to bring to light that animals often look and act just like people, and in turn, deserve to be treated and respected just like our fellow friends and family members. Featured below are pictures from my Baccalaureate Thesis Exhibition, and further down the page you can see my entire body of work from this series!
Find me on Facebook and Instagram to follow my daily life as an artist, and see sneak previews of my newest art!
